Providing Solutions For A New Client

We’re always available via phone to help you understand the testing that may be required on your project.

Our newest client called to ask a few questions about the field quality control testing they were going to be required to pass on the project.  Over the course of a few weeks and multiple conversations to help them understand the standards and procedures, Recon was asked to join the project to provide Third Party field quality control testing.

In addition to providing the required testing, we were able to assist our client in diagnosing issues that were identified during the site visit, at no additional charge.

Recon strives to perform services holistically, meaning, we see greater value in moving the project forward to a successful conclusion when we are there.  Its our goal to aid in the completion of the building envelope, not just give it a thumb up or down.

Teamwork Is The Recon Way

Field Quality Control Testing: Curtain Wall Mock-Up

Recon recently completed another round of field testing on curtain wall mock-ups for a hospital’s vertical expansion project.

Recon Quality Control Testing

Recon is looking forward to continuing to work with hospital staff, the project architect, the construction team and the glazing system installers to deliver a watertight building that will serve the community for decades to come.

Field Quality Control Testing During Construction

Recon continues to support its clients by providing the field testing required by project specifications within Division 8.

Third Party Testing

ASTM E 1105

Our clients and their reputations are important to us, so we carefully and responsibly provide third party testing during construction to ensure water penetration resistance of the building envelope at openings.

Seeing Evidence Water Intrusion?

Its not always visible.  To aid in examinations of buildings Recon employs many tools.  One of them is infrared thermography.

Its little clues that often lead us to identify the source of water that is affecting a building.

We’re focused on providing results.  If you need assistance, we’re a phone call away.

Third Party Water Intrusion Investigations By Recon

When we received the call requesting assistance in locating the sources of multiple water intrusion issues in a three year old structure we were happy to help.

Despite calls for service to the contractor, the potentially responsible subcontractors that responded to investigate provided no solutions, just a finger pointed toward a different subcontractor.

After watching the circular firing squad approach end without results, we got the call.

Our approach was simple; we looked at the details where leaks were being reported without bias regarding who may be responsible.

Our process included gathering background information about where leaks had been observed inside, followed by a methodical examination and diagnostic testing until the leaks were duplicated.

Once we were able to see the leaks happening, we provided documentation to the owner so that they could request specific remedies to the latent problems affecting the building.

Have a building that needs a neutral third party examination?
