If you’re finding the process of having field quality control testing performed on the project is an unpleasant event, you may be working with the wrong company.
Recon Independent Assessments knows the stress that testing creates and strives to ensure that test days are not just productive, but easy going and beneficial.
When failures happen, we can switch roles when asked to help determine the cause of the failure and how to correct the problem that lead to water penetration.

When we received the call requesting assistance in locating the sources of multiple water intrusion issues in a three year old structure we were happy to help.
Despite calls for service to the contractor, the potentially responsible subcontractors that responded to investigate provided no solutions, just a finger pointed toward a different subcontractor.
After watching the circular firing squad approach end without results, we got the call.
Our approach was simple; we looked at the details where leaks were being reported without bias regarding who may be responsible.
Our process included gathering background information about where leaks had been observed inside, followed by a methodical examination and diagnostic testing until the leaks were duplicated.
Once we were able to see the leaks happening, we provided documentation to the owner so that they could request specific remedies to the latent problems affecting the building.

We recently provided a review of ongoing construction of building envelope details to help ensure the Hard Rock Daytona is delivered to owners in a watertight condition.
Recon Independent Assessments again provided investigative services, in partnership with the Architect working for Facilities Maintenance, on a university campus in North Florida to provide valuable information that will allow for the creation of repair documents to stop ongoing water intrusion issues affecting a building.
By documenting the existing conditions and performing testing, we were able to locate the defects causing the water intrusion.
A report documenting the sources of water along with photos detailing and supporting our conclusions was submitted the following day.
Recon is proud to have built an ongoing relationship with the facilities staff and architect that has been ongoing for years.
Recon has you covered when the need arises for testing windows, skylights & curtainwall on new construction projects.
